Hi
I'm Steve and i live in Teesside up in the great North East. I am a music fan enjoying many forms/genres of music my favourite being west coast fusion and OST. I host a monthly Podcast/show on www.progzilla.com and despite it being a primarily prog rock station i play all kinds of stuff. I love my Hi-Fi and have done since i was 14 years old. Unlike many Audiophiles my knowledge of the technical side of the hobby is limited though my ears are sharp and appreciate engineering and innovation. I still think the best way to enjoy music is via a good Hi-Fi system rather than music on the move. Well, that's me in a nutshell. :D

A very warm welcome Steve :). I’m not personally as big a prog fan as I once was but I’ve heard your podcast and it’s excellent.

Hi!
I'm Ben and I live in Edinburgh. I got into audiophile gear when I was a student and spent a long weekend listening to my uncles various bits of kit. I was particularly impressed with the Linn Kans powered by Naim amps, can't remember exactly what sources he was using at the time.

I've been running a similar setup: NAC42, NAP140, KAN mk2 for a number of years now which I've been happy enough with without much fiddling. I'm an engineer by trade (software, control systems and a bit of electronics) and I have a few unfinished DIY/refurb projects which I've recently committed to finally completing (more in another thread...).

I like a wide variety of music genres, although most of my listening is ambient electronica on cans at work.

Welcome aboard Ben :). Please do tell us about your projects as we love a bit of audio DIY here.
