Whatever you fit just make sure that the socket outer (gnd) doesn't touch the casework when you fit them. All inputs and outputs are floated on the Paradise only signal to gnd link is in the PSU.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm in the process of raising funds to get the 2 valve amps modded again, so any Paradise stuff will wait till later in the year.

Mark, have you had time to upgrade your paradise yet? I'm interested in the silver inductor coils at some point and then adding the pure silver WBT RCA's, costly but I suppose it's the last stop on the merry-go-round.

No, sorry bud, not had a chance yet - will probably get it done the week after next...

Si has done a really nice job of the inductors - super neatly wound. He also added a few extra turns compared to the copper ones I have.

I don’t know if there ever truly is a ‘last stop’ though - Si was talking about replacing the Hammond chokes in the power supplies with small, custom wound, torodials.

There are also the half acrylic cases mine uses too....

I'm not sure the big Toroidy chokes will make any difference to the PSU, I suspect swapping the shunt to a wider bandwidth design with better PSRR would make a more sensible difference. I just haven't been able to find one that fits that bill.

I'm buried with various jobs at the minute, kite CDA and builds. Here's the latest bits from Tims build. I should gte this all stuffed for the weekend, just waiting on silver for coils and TX components parts.

and then there's the fitting it all to a mid size 350mmm wide case fuckery to look forward to, small Calvin heatsinks, staggered pcb mounts, chokes paired down one side of each psu pcb rather than max radius, etc etc.

There's always something on the workbench.

This one is ready for casing up while we wait for TX parts.
